• U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Homes and Communities site — A partnership with the National Association of Home Builders will educate and train persons in the housing industry about their responsibilities to provide accessible housing to persons with disabilities.
• Usage of the term "Mental Retardation" — PDF report conducted by the University of Kansas.
• Welfare Information Network — A clearinghouse for information, policy analysis, and technical assistance on welfare reform.
• WorkSupport.com — Information, research, and resources about work and disability issues.
• The World Congress and Exposition on Disabilities — Offers information about products and services available for the disability community.
• WCD Foundation — Provides educational programs, financial scholarships, resource links, and a newsletter.
• World Institute on Disability (WID) — An international public policy center dedicated to carrying out cutting-edge research on disability issues.
• YOUTHSPEAK — A group of young people with special health care needs and/or disabilities designed a 5-module curriculum and produced a series of multimedia publications to inform the public about the needs of youth with special health care needs.
