Transitioning Youth Guide
The Transitioning Youth Guide was originally produced and later adapted through the collaboration of The Arc of Frederick County, the Frederick County Public Schools, the Division of Rehabilitation Services in Frederick County, and Service Coordination. Some of the Guide can be accessed by using the tabs to the left on this website, and you can contact your Service Coordinator for the additional county specific resources located in the Guide. The materials in this Guide are by no means all inclusive. They are meant to be a guide and resource about some of the available programs and services. Each service provider and benefits agency has their own qualification process and each application must be submitted separately. There may be waiting lists. Your Service Coordinator, DORS or DDA representative can identify other agencies or information that may suit your student’s particular needs.
